Open positions & your application process

A minimum of German (B1) is required with us, as German is our internal working language. Where needed, we offer a subsidy for individual language courses as support.

That depends on the role - please ask about a specific opportunity in the relevant area (e.g. as an apprentice in the gardens at Schloss Hof Estate).

Absolutely! You can upload proactive applications through the tool on our website. We regularly screen CVs and match them with current open positions. It helps if you indicate which areas you're interested in.

Once you've uploaded your application through our online portal, your documents are reviewed carefully. If there's a good match between the requirements and your qualifications and experience, the relevant department or HR invites you to a personal interview, and you'll hear back from us promptly.

Depending on the position and area of responsibility, we run a multi-stage selection process.

Our application tool is GDPR-compliant. We store your data for 6–12 months, depending on your consent.

The onboarding process starts before your first day at work. With your contract, you receive a voucher for a free visit with a companion. That way, you can show family or friends where you'll soon be working, ahead of time. From day one, on-the-job training with your colleagues, mandatory training sessions and welcome days are part of the programme. Experienced buddies accompany you as first points of contact through your first weeks and are there for any questions. How long onboarding takes depends on your role.
