An Evening in Schönbrunn

The resplendent Orangery provides the fitting setting for distinguished musical performances by the Schloss Schönbrunn Orchestra. The concerts are given a perfect framework in the form of a guided tour through the palace or a dinner in a restaurant at walking distance from the palace, or both.

Maze

How quickly can you find the way to the middle of the labyrinth? Here you encounter a viewing platform with a glorious view of the beautiful palace park and two energising harmony stones.


Viewing Terrace on the Gloriette

The imposing Neo-classical columned edifice is enthroned on Schönbrunn Hill and crowns your visit to the palace park.

From the terrace the city lies at your feet, and you have a unique, panoramic view of the palace and far-reaching parts of Vienna. The viewing terrace is a favourite spot for taking souvenir photos.

Crown Prince Garden & Orangery Garden

Two of the most idyllic spots in the grounds!

The Crown Prince Garden at the east façade of the palace with its romantically overgrown pergolas is an irresistible invitation to linger and dream. The Orangery garden takes you on a time trip through European horticulture and enchants with exotic plants, some of which are still growing that were originally owned by the Habsburgs.
