Originally the furniture depot of the Habsburg Dynasty, today a focal point for masterpieces of furniture design.

The Imperial Furniture Collection is located in an idyllically green inner courtyard in the hip 7th Viennese District among cool concept stores and unique restaurants and bars. An insider tip if you love design and especially interior design, or if you fancy a break from the everyday routine in the shady interior courtyard of the Café Restaurant Depot.

Möbelmuseum Wien – A Time Trip through Design

Original furniture owned by the Habsburgs, the world’s largest Biedermeier collection, and classics of modern furniture design. The Imperial Furniture Collection has exactly the right furniture piece to suit every taste.

Part of the exhibition is devoted to Sissi in Film and shows the original furnishings used in the trilogy directed by Ernst Marischka, alongside corresponding scenes from the film.
